Troubleshooting - What To Do If....

Your Lights Won't Work

  1. Make sure the light switch is in the "on" position.
  2. Inspect bulb to be sure it is not burned out.
  3. Check the breaker to see if it has "tripped" to the "off" position.
  4. Reset the breaker to the "off" position and then reset to the "on" position. You should feel or hear it click.

Your Receptacles Aren't Working

  1. Check if a wall switch controls power to the receptacle.
  2. Check for a tripped breaker.
  3. Reset the breaker to the "off" position and then reset to the "on" position. You should feel or heart it click.
  4. If the receptacle is located in the kitchen, bathroom, garage or outside, check for a GFI receptacle. Push the reset button of the GFI receptacle to reset.

Your Garbage Disposal Won't Work

  1. Check the garbage disposal reset located on the disposal unit. Sometimes its underneath the unit.
  2. Check for a tripped breaker.
  3. Reset the breaker to the "off" position and then reset to the "on" position. You should feel or heart it click.
  4. Make sure the wall switch is in the "on" position.

Your Hot Water Heater Won't Heat

  1. Check the hot water hearter reset located on the heater unit.
  2. Check for a tripped breaker.
  3. Reset the breaker to the "off" position and then reset to the "on" position. You should feel or heart it click.
