At Bay Street
Baptist church in Eustis on 10-31-00, there will be a Halloween fest.
There will be costume contests with games and food. The fun starts at
6:00 and lasts till 8:00.
The Kids Fall
festival will be held at Farren Park
in Eustis. Its from 6 to 8:30. Free. There will be candy, games, a big
slide, and music on the band shell. Sponsored by Eustis Police Dept. The
event is on 10-31-00.
The Leesburg Partnership is putting on the Trick or Treat Carnival on
10-31-00. Its downtown in Leesburg on Main Street. It will be held from
6:00-9:00.

The Mount Dora art
League's Paint and create sessions meet weekly on Wednesdays from
9:00-1:00 at the Community chapel Annex Building, 3601 Old Highway

Tavares-Lake County Teen Court is seeking people ages 13-18 to act as
prosecutors and defense attorneys. A training session for teens is held
from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday Nov.1
in the Lake County Judicial Complex. Teen Court will be held Tuesdays at

On Nov 4th and 5th
(Saturday and Sunday) Autumn Bike Fest will be held at Farren Park in
Eustis. Bring your motorcycles. There’s two days of music on the band
shell, biker games, bike vendors, and a food court.
Veterans Day in the
Park will be held on 11-11-00 at 11:00. It will last about an hour.
Veteran are encouraged to wear their uniforms.
On Nov. 24th
Light Up the Lake will be held at Farren Park the village downtown in
Eustis. It will last from 5-9. There will be music on the band shell by
Touch Of Class (Tonya Wilder).
On Nov. 25th
Cruise in on the Park will be held in Eustis. It lasts from 6:00 till
9:00. Bring your HotRods.
On Dec. 1 The Daily
Commercial will sponsor music on the band shell.
Christmas Camp for K-5 will last from Dec 20 until Jan
7. It’s free at Carver Park and starts at 10am. You pay for it at the
Senior Service Center on Ward Ave. And the times there are from 7:30am
until 5:30 pm.
Fri and Sat (11-3
and 11-4) Leesburg is having Auto Fest Cruise In Antique And Custom Car
Show. Friday it will be held from 6-9. Call 365-0053 for further

Friday (11-3) Mount
Dora’s Plant and Garden Fair will be held from 10-5. The event will be
held in Gilbert Park.
The fourth annual Mt Dora Spring Festival of
Music and Literature will be held April 5-8. There will be performances
by the Orlando Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and Grant Doyle, and there
will be many café concerts. There will be a writing contest, poetry
readings, and a young artist workshop. The event is currently seeking
